In the last year’s time working with Andrew Cole of Knuckleberry Custom Trailers on my custom vintage camper build, I’ve had only the sweetest experience. A lot of life happened, as we all know, during the time KCT worked on my custom build. Timelines were pushed back, plans changed, finances were affected, etc., etc.
Andrew was warm, welcoming & understanding from the start. What began as a desperate years-long search for help with my dream project turned into a hopeful endeavor in finally setting my dream into motion & getting out there on the open road. From there, my vision only continued to grow! I was able to spend a handful of days out at The KCT farm + property, checking in on how things were progressing, meeting & spending time in community with The Cole Family, all of their wonderful farm fur babes, and very quickly was able to call them the sweetest new friends.
Andrew was flexible in working with me on project specifics as the process went along, which was refreshing & truly a breath of fresh air. He was very intentional in actively investing in solutions to whatever “problems and roadblocks” (pun intended) arose as we went along. His use of creative thinking & inventive strategy was again, refreshing to work with.
Throughout the project, we were really able to team up, and co-work not just on the camper project, but on others as well. Which was a sweet & fun element to add to the mix! The whole Knuckleberry Custom Trailers & Huckleberry Farms family truly, and quickly, became just that. They felt like sweet additional extended family. Great pals that were instantly on my side helping me to finally make my dreams come true. They sincerely helped the process along in so many more ways than simply a little ol’ camper build.
This project, for me, has been one of a lot of recurring struggles, perseverance, heartbreak, and years of time, money, energy, and actual blood, sweat, and tears. The goal being to accomplish big dreams, no matter the roadblocks, in honor of my sweet, beautiful boyfriend, Joe, & my pup (son) Koa, who both passed in the process. Throw in a direct hit in the Nashville tornado of 2020, Covid, + more….Whew. It’s been a journey of its own that I’m still working toward accomplishing. I can’t say enough about the kindness, warmth & joy experienced in working with Knucklberry Custom Trailers on this thing. And along the path to my dreams, despite all odds. Or I’ll be damned, haha. I too can’t say enough how much gratitude I feel & hold in moving this dream along for Andrew, Tiffany, and all their babies! Tiny humans or fur babes alike!
DREAM TEAM, pals!
West Coast, we are coming for ya so soon. Finally finding home!!
